#34: Death Is Not An Option by Suzanne Rivecca
It’s sort of embarrassing that as of late my Amazon account has been spot on with its recommendations. This book was me to a T. There was so much connection it was silly: a love/hate relationship with the Free Willy song (hold me, like the river Jordan…), having to tell people how they feel, mustering up some courage, describing someone as “the kinda guy who would eat Cliff Bars.” It all made sense! I know those worlds! Each story is of a different woman, in a different setting, yet there is a fine line that makes them one. After reading a lot of books lately from the perspective of men in a crisis, it was nice to read something so thoughtful and true to my own experiences. I guess what I mean to say is I thought this book was really good. And just right.
